A geologist since 1975, Richard has broad experience in mining and mineral exploration for gold and base metals. Richard has worked as a mine and exploration geologist since 1976 primarily involved in gold and base metal targets in NSW, Western Australia and North Queensland. He began with Esso Minerals in 1976 (to 1986) and since 1987 Richard has been a Director and Principal Geologist of Terra Search Pty Ltd.
Richard has played a key role in the evaluation of several prospects/deposits throughout Australia:
- Scuddles
- Harbour Lights WA
- Woolgar
- Reward
- Century QLD
- Temora NSW
Richard was Co-Leader of Lachlan Fold Belt (1995-99) exploration data research conducted for the NSW Department of Mineral Resources (Discovery 2000 Project) and the Geological Survey of Victoria (VIMP Project).
